Various modalities are combined based on each individual client’s needs to help facilitate relaxation and pain relief. This may include Swedish massage, deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilization.

The massage therapist uses the deep pressure of her feet to provide a therapeutic massage. This modality is best suited for clients with chronic pain due to tight muscle groups who enjoy deep work. Barefoot work is contraindicated during pregnancy and for clients who should not receive deep tissue massage, including, but not limited to frail elderly, those on blood thinners, neuropathy, and recent COVID infection.

Hot stones and/or warm bamboo sticks are used in addition to the therapist’s hands in order to provide a deeper, yet relaxing massage.

Universal energy, or Reiki, is transferred through the therapist’s palms to the clients energy centers to help relax, refresh, and activate the self-healing process. The practitioner’s hands are lightly touching or placed slightly above the client’s body to send energy where it is needed. Comfortable dress is recommended.

Prenatal massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Specially-designed massage cushions, and positioning is used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen.

An AromaTouch treatment featuring a series of essential oils applied to the spine and feet. The oil is applied with gentle strokes and does NOT include massage therapy. This treatment takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

This 30 minute treatment focuses exclusively on the muscles of the jaw, neck, scalp, and upper shoulders to relieve migraines or painful TMJ discomfort. TMJ treatment includes gloved, inter-oral work (inside the cheek). This portion of the massage is recommended, but can be excluded at the client’s request.
